I’ll repeat myself. Where the $#$% were the tides tonight. I dont need much help in the “looking like an ashoe department”, but I surely called a friend to walk a flat and the water never got above ankle deep!
yeah there was def. less water than I thought there would be

I feel ya man…i talked my girl into walking out with me for the first time ever to video tape some tails this eve…she wont ever go back, shoot…i’m pretty sure our relationship is up in the air too! haha…her exact words…“so you expect to catch a fish on land?!”

Same thing in Georgia wind kept the water out of the grass.
west winds
SW winds always, ALWAYS keeps the water much lower than it’s supposed to be. On the flipside, NE winds always brings that water higher, faster than anticipated.
Just watch the wind forecast when looking at the tide predictions.
There was some water yesterday…
But it was quite a bit less than predicted. Smokey, not sure if you use it or not, but check out the tide tool over there on the left sidebar <------. It shows predicted vs. actual levels so that you can plan accordingly.
And like others said, that SW wind can really wreak havoc with water levels.
Pillage and plunder with a 9wt and a fist full of clousers.
Anyone giving it another shot at dusk tonight?
i’ll be out there somewhere…leaving the camera at home…guaranteed to see a ton of fish!
