where to buy electronics online?

Daddy day might be good for a new plotter/sounder for me this year. I’ve done a search myself but does anyone have a rec on the best place to buy marine electronics on the web? Thanks.

BOE Marine if you just have to get it online, but check with Charleston Marine. I’d rather buy local.

I agree, Jim at BOE is top notch guy but would rather see dollars stay local if possible

West Marine will match any online price. Find it on the web and if they got it, they will match it.

Not every price. I tried last month to get the WM in Columbia to match a price I found on a Garmin GPS/Sounder. They would not do it, they said the price was less than their cost. I bought from BOE because there is no one else local in Columbia.

True, they have priced-matched several items for me here in the Chas area. It has to be a dealer or shop, not an eBay item or anything like that. However, I could see them not honoring it if it fell below their cost.

Wound up buying at west marine. I searched online and found a really good price. It was $640 including the transducer. WM price was $600 w/o the td. So between shipping for online vs tax at wm it was prob about $30 more to buy local and with the matched price and I get the wm product replacement service. Had no probs from
them matching the price.

I have gots loads of stuff from them and it has all worked out perfect. Even got some bad speakers from them once and they replaced no hassels at all.
