Hi Guys,
My wife and I are coming down to the Mt. Pleasant area in January for a few weeks of redfish fishing. We have hired a local guide - Hunter Allen - and I think I know where I want to fish: ICW and Wando River.
Now we need a place to stay. Are there any campgrounds other than the KOA in that area???
Thanks in advance for your help.

It is 22 degrees here right now, can’t wait to get some where warm!
Halfway Creek Campsite is in Francis Marion National Forest about 20 miles north of the center of Mt. P. Buck Hall and Honey Hill are also in that area. James Island County Park has a campground, but I think it’s mainly for RVs. If you are looking for tent style camping halfway creek is not bad. The last time I was there, there were no outhouses, but they did have a hand pump well.

Narcosis
Thanks Narcosis but I am looking for a place for my RV
Buck Hall Recreational Center has a camp ground on the ICW. Might be a little to far north of Mt Pleasant, but worth mentioning.
James Island county park is nice and not far from where u will be fishing.

James Island it is.
We will be down from Jan 10th through the 22end, if anyone wants to hook up to fish send me a PM.
The well at halfway cr. is very shallow and the water quality is not good.
