Hello all, I’m coming to Charleston over the forth and was wonder where the best place is for me to make some cathes on the fly? I will have our boat which can get pretty shallow but doesn’t have a flat bottom. ( a Hurricane ■■■■■■■ with 150h outboat, looks like a pontoon only with fiberglass hull) I have had this boat in the harbor and up and down the IC waterway. North to the marina at Isle of Palm, and just to the big opening south of Wappo ?? landing. I have launched both at Shem Creek and Wappoo. Anyhow, I am not that concern over species, Reds, Trout, or are there Jacks in the harbor at this time of year??? Only looking for more fight than the largemouths and brim we catch here in the upstate lakes. I do have proper equipment, 8 and 9 wt outfits, but help on fly choice would also be appreciated. If the boat won’t get shallow enough for the tailing reds, is there places to access them by wade fishing??
Thanks in advance… Doug Runyan- Greenville
