Trying to help a non-fishing family I work for with a beach house in Wild Dunes decide what kind of boat to get. What are the trips someone without a lot of boating experience are likely to make from there?
IOP to Shem Creek for lunch
IOP to harbor for a cruise
IOP North for an ICW cruise
IOP to downtown marina and then out into the city - doable right?
Are there other good spots around Charleston people go to by boat? They have the beach at WD so they are not going to load up there stuff on a boat to go the beach or a sandbar.
My personal opinion is that they are not gong to use it much as they are people who are used to the lake and the complexity of the tides, traffic, docking, etc will limit their interest.
