I was thinking about going out this Saturday, the 11th and would like to do some trolling. Was wondering where to find some kings this time of year, still new to the Charleston waters. Thanks in advance!
This is probably a useless suggestion, I’m no king expert but been around here a while. I would exit the jetties, put your heading at 150 degrees, start in 60’ of water and start trolling.

Live bottom will be you best friend this time of year live bait trolled very slow. The artificial reefs will hold fish but nothing in the size category referred to as “smoker kings” we will be heading out Saturday As well check your pm

Interested in how y’all did. Ready to get back after the kings. This is about the time of year I’ve started catching them. Warmer water has to be drawing them in to the 60’-80’ range.
The kings are all over the place at the moment
