I need to mount a GPS puck for a lowrance and want some advice as to where would be the best place to mount it. Here are some pictures of the console

Mount it on the grab rail above the windshield. They make a mount for it…I have mine the same way.

i would flush mount it on the dash to the right of the compass
neat clean and out of the way, and will have no issues picking up satellites
Before mounting it to the console, lay it down where you’re thinking of mounting it, turn the GPS unit on with the antenna attached, and watch your compass. If the compass swings, you have some decisions to make.
Does your unit not have an internal antenna?
No mo unit does not have an internal antenna. It’s a little older lowrance
