Can someone help me.
I live in Summerville and want to put in at Moultrie.
The closest point to my location is the pinnoplis locks
18.9 bay boat…I need a decent ramp w/ dock to tie off too
thanks

Not many ramps with a dock to tie up to on Moultrie. Some that do are Hatchery , Angels , Canal ( diversion canal )and Russelville.
Hey Thanks
the hatchery actually looks to be the closest…some of the descriptions I read about the hatchery however describe it as shallow and rocky…I mean I am only drafting about 14in…have you ever put in there.
I’ll probally drive up there and check it out today and bag fishing…too hot and late now anyways.
thanks
took the trip around the lake…found out what I needed to know
tks
Lake Moultrie is basically a stump field. Anywhere you are in less than 5 feet of water, you will likely hit stumps. Been fishing Moultrie since 73. Hatchery is good in the spring for Bass and Crappie…
Bay, you want to find landings, look at the top of this page! In the Black Boxes across the top there is a Resources Box! Click on that box and scroll down to Landings and open it. You’ll find a plethora of Landings with a description and directions to them! Hope this helps:wink:
^^^ Good to know!!
I don’t think it lists this ramp - it’s in Pinopolis Cove on Lakeside Drive. It has plenty of parking and a nice dock.
Be mindful of stumps pretty much anywhere shallow in Lake Moultrie. It’s worth checking out on the Navionics site before launching.
