I haven’t lost my grip. What happened to poeple actualy going out and doing something on their own? Now they get on the net and ask for everything, where are the shrimp? where are the ducks? Where are the fish? And these folks that had people show them where to go and how to do it, now feal it is their job to tell everyone else. It must be some kind of ego thing. Look at me, I know what to do, and where to go.

If you expect me to believe that you have never learned anything about fishing and hunting from someone else, then I have some beach front property that you can have. During our lifetime, everyone learns something from someone else whether it be their family, friends, or some casual acquaintances who are more than happy to share their knowledge. There is nothing wrong with giving people a little information to get them started and letting them figure out the rest. I am more than happy to share what I have learned with anyone including you although I know that with the attitude you have displayed here, you would never ask. Has nothing to do with ego. It has to do with being generous and also with promoting our pastimes. Suppose that you take a child or a "newbie" fishing or hunting and they never catch anything or shoot anything. They will lose interest and quit. What happens to fishing and hunting then? I am not so greedy that I can not share what I know with others. And calling people "idiots" is completely unnecessary.

Like Phin once said…Some people are on here just phishing for a reaction. Their post has nothing to do with how most think.
