Where’s all the fishin reports? Have yall been on the water? Maybe we could get a afternoon trip together with several boats.
If I can get the bugs worked out of my boat I will. I also need to get a trolling motor but can still fish without it. anyone have an old bow mount laying around they want to get rid of cheap:smiley:
steelytom, give me a call. i have an antique but it was working when i took it off of my old boat. you can at least use it until you pick up one that suits you.

coolbreeze, thanks. i want an autopilot but it may be awhile till I can spend 1000 on one. Plus it seem odd having a trolling motor worth more than your boat. Kind of late, I’ll call you tomorrow. Not sure what time you sleep.

Did head out Sat for a couple of hours to check the boat out, I had to do a little maint on it and took it to the lake(Hartwell) to check everything out. We did not hit the water till 12:30pm and only had a couple of hours to troll. We used leadcore line and pulled roadrunners around the dam. Ended up with 6 fish in the box that ranged from 6 1/2 lbs all the way up to 10lbs. We battled wind, rain , wind, wind and more wind and whitecaps but the fish were still hot when I had to leave. All were caught in deep water over the main channels of the lake near dam
