Which boat is the best?

I was in charleston this weekend and if you just look at all the boats there its amazing how many different types there are. I memorized some and im just looking on opinons on which type of boat is the heaviest, smoothest riding, dryest riding, or really any comments at all that you have on them, positive or negative.

Sea Hunt
Regulator
EdgeWater
Scout
Sea Fox
Grady White
Mako
Contender
Fountain
Sailfish
Hydresport
Jupiter
Boston Whaler
Triton

Hey bo… Watch this

hey, ask what the best truck is too.while you’re at it.but for serious offshore fishing, it’s hard to beat a 16’ bayliner with a 50 hp force.

I like the new 24’+ Key West.

If price did not matter… i would get a Fountain

Sad to see not one of my three boats listed. Pity me.

Yea, I have been eyeing that myself… I could use the extra 3’ too. Really nice looking boat.

But to the OP, you need to be more specific to what you are wanting/looking for out of a boat…

2008 Key West 211 Bluewater Suzuki 250

Put Cape Horn on the list. Boats are to a degree like weather your a. Chevy or a Ford man. To a degree…but once you weed out some junk there are some real differences between Hull design that can make a huge difference on smoothness of ride, dryness of ride, how fast you can ride, etc… then you have to figure out which power you want on the back. Good lord decisions decisions.

I kind of like the one that is paid for.

You’re asking for an opinion and you know what opinions are like.

Cape Horn 24OS
twin 150 Optimax

Leeeeet’s see. Out of all the production boats available, I’m going to have to go wiiiiiiiiiiiith

Viking.

OK, no fair, it’s a multi-million-dollar sportfisher. I know.

Too bad I don’t have the money for one.

But, if you’re competing the outboard boats, don’t forget Everglades, Intrepid, Donzi, Pursuit, Shearwater/Sterling, Yellowfin, McKee Craft, Stamas, and Century.

Now, paired with your answers, all, please also tell us which college football team is the best?

I know there is not alot of them in charleston (i think ive seen one more besides mine) but maycraft makes a great boat. smooth ride, lots of room, and one of the driest boats ive been on. ask anyone who owns one or ever been on one. mine is a 23’er but they make down to i think 18’

Grady White is probably going to be the heaviest. . or close to the heaviest. Usually good for ride/stability, bad for fuel economy.

I’m partial to Boston Whalers, but only the old ones with wood.

A Grady's ride isn't gonna compare to a Contender, Regulator or any boat with 24.5'deadrise for ride.
