Want to thank Haddrells,West Ashley and Simon for a super fly tying class this past Tuesday. This was my second and I really appreciate the time they take with beginners. Now, what is the easiest knot to connect mono leader to fly line? Thank you.
It’s not easy but the prefered method (if your fly line doesn’t have a welded loop) is a nail knot.
Look up a whipped loop. permanent loop at end of fly line. very simple and very strong, allows a loop to loop connection
Stick with the Nail knot. Get the tool. Easiest knot you will tie. Thanks for attending the fly tying class. Look for the next class probably will do one next month.
