After several weeks without a computer, I am back online. I’ve been too busy to fish so I haven’t had anything to post anyway. I plan on going Saturday, maybe I can talk Sharky in to going with me (and yes Sharky, I am not leaving until the sun comes up). The boat is back from the detailer and ready to get covered in striper blood.
I plan on heading out with phishinphan Saturday morning. Maybe we can trade phone numbers and share some information. If nothing else I am sure I can eliminate some areas for you. If you go out with sharky, I have his number.
Where are you guys putting in? I am going to get in touch with Sharky today and see about picking him up at Spinner’s in the morning.

i’m going to put in at spinners in the morning.i wanted to go today but i’m going to fight the wind.i’m going to start on my pontoon trailer just got back from buying the channel for it.what time is everyone going to be at spinners?whippingpost are you going to get up before 7am?tom call me.
sharky; call me also. bobby d. 331-8873. i could not believe that there was nobody out by the towers or anywhere that i could see last night around 7pm. it was a pretty decent night to be out.
me and steely talked about putting in at #3 since my boat is not the fastest on the water. figure that’ll get us close to the river merge. we’ll bait up at better bait and be on the water by 6:30, unless steely’s late again.
phishinphan why don’t you put in at spinners and buy your bait there it closer than #3.head towards 3 and take the left fork towards #4.spinners is on the left you can’t miss it.i think thats where i ll put in at if i don’t ride with whippingpost.what kind of boat will you be in?i’ll be driving a red and gray f150 with a 16ft tracker 25 suzuki on it.

whippingpost you have mail
it doesn’t matter to me… it’s the first day of 10 days straight i don’t have to work. i’ll tell tom to call you. he must actually be working this afternoon… i’ve not heard from him in a while.
How 'bout a fishin report … also …who won the race ?
The more you fish, the better you lie.
14.5 'yak 175 lb motor
murray i ended up with 4 stripers,8 catfish ,1 perch,1 lost rod and reel and 1 broke reel.i would say the catfish won today.the drag locked up and reel is worthless.the lost rod was my error.fish hit i thought the hook was set fish got offanother one went down laid the first one down to fight second one.the first one must of still had bait on it.i looked over to see it going over the side.no race was run.i think i scared them.
where about ? …and what kind of bait & bottom depth ?.. also … I think I could take you both if we only use paddles !!

i was fishing between spinners and ramp 4.the water was between 30 and 55ft.i was drifting very slow almost stopped the drift bag made all the difference.i only used the trolling motor to keep me on course.you would beat me if we only used paddles because i don’t paddle.that’s what motors are for.when are you heading back out?tomorrow is suppose to windy and rainy.i’m not sure about going.i’ll just wait until i get up and decide.the bait of choice was herring.
Phishinphan had two stripers to the boat and lost them both. The second one was about a 8 to 10# one that he lost due to lack of knot tying skills. I caught one nice cat probably somewhere between 15 to 20#'s. We were over near #4 as well where everyone was bird chasing. Had a lot of short hits on the big shad. The one I caught and the ones Pierce almost caught were on herring. Spinners has a nice setup there, and nice bait.
tom what time did you leave?i left about 2:30.
we left at 1:30
