Lol…daddy said he was crabbing today when a boat passed…it turned around and came back to say hello…said they recognized him and asked where his “crew” was:wink:
Ok…'fess up! Who was it? Haha
But really…thanks for taking the time to stop and say hello to my daddy…he enjoyed talking to you and got a good laugh out of it too! Mom laughs and says I’ve made him a celebrity
Hope you caught fish!
Penn
Oh yeah…while talking to my mom she was telling me about her and daddy’s fishing trip Thursday…about the big “you know…one of those suck to the bottom fish(stingray)”
They caught…and about a triple tail daddy caught (20 inches)…daddy said it pulled like crazy…said he forgot how strong they were with their having “three RUDDERS” …said otherwise fishing was slow…but they had a good time and brought home some dinner
Penny, what is someone supposed to call your Daddy if they happen to see him? Do you say, Hi, Pennys Daddy, or do you call him, Mr. Daddy, or what:question: God help them, if your MOM was with him. Then it would be something like Hi, Mr. and Mrs Dadddy. Or you would ask, Are you guy’s Mr. and Mrs. Pennys Daddy?
Hahah mr easy! And to tell you the truth…he says what they mostly say is…sooooo you are pennys daddy…we see your pics all the time! then he laughs and laughs…says I’ve blown his cover…he is a mess…and btw…his real name isn’t penny’s daddy …it’s bubby Morrison…and my moms name is Helen…
That’s funny:smiley: If I see him in the river I’ll be sure to speak
As to tripletails inshore, I’ve gigged several inshore, but never caught one on a hook. See them a lot while gigging. I stuck a big one one night, almost too big. It took off leaving me with the choice of getting snatched out the boat head first, letting go of the gig, or jumping in after it. I jumped and the 2 of us had a time for a few minutes. Finally got it, but it was questionable who had who for a while:smiley:

that be me. had a friend up from fla and we were out scouting, saw your dad and had to speak. By the way, a grey beard who works the salt deserves to be addressed as Captain. Look forward to your next post and hope to see ya in the creeks.
I have a hard time calling him anything but Sir! That’s one hard working well respected waterman right there for sure! Thankfully he has this great daughter who goes out and helps him pull his crab pots now:)
