Anyone fishing the Edisto tourney in May 2? Looks like it’ll be fun.
Does the biggest dolphin win the Edisto and Bohicket tourneys, or are they each their own tourney?

Supposed to get the boat back late next week from electronics re-install. If no delays Fortunate Son will be there. Really excited about all the events the new marina owner is planning.

Assume its Brian Bell at the marina, although I am sure Steve and Larry at the marina have the info as well.
Remember that the name has changed to The Marina at Edisto Beach bc you will get wrong number and website if you search Edisto Marina.

Just talked to the Marina at Edisto. Already talking about pushing the tournament back to Sunday. Said they had a bunch of small boats wanting to fish. I understand Sunday is going to be a better day, but how can they have a challenge if they fish different days? Bohicket is fishing sat unless its a small craft.
I think they are giving the option to fish Sat or Sun. I hope that’s true, because if Sat is the only option, they’ll lose most of their entries. If the forecast doesn’t lighten up, we are fishing the tourney on Sunday.
Anyone know who’s making that call and when they’re making it?
I was told they will still have capt meeting Fri at 6. Yea I would rather fish Sunday in better seas but my sons first birthday is Sunday so that out.
Fishing the tournament one way or another. Bumpy on Sat or better (hopefully) on Sun!
If anyone hears definatively about the Sunday option, please share. That will be our only chance to participate.

Call the marina. As of Tursday, they said this option was a near certainty. Either way, the more people that call from the mosquito fleet, the more likely they are to be firm in allowing tournament participants to choose Sat or Sun.
The Edisto Marina number is 843-631-5055. Please confirm with them that due to the bad weather early Sat, you would participate if Sunday was an option!

Called 8am this mornings, they are gonna make decision by 8 pm tonight whether to change to Sunday… They are very concerned about giving smaller boats a chance to fish…
