Which one of y’all were fishing the Ashley near the Sam Rit Bridge this morning?
Not me
I’m stuck in the office this morning
So much water, So little time
That would be me NOt as cold as I thougthj it was gonna be but the wind pretty much kicked my butt… 1st time I was out there so I was doing more exploring than fishing… especially since none of the baits I had worked on the fish
Did you honk and wave?

Nope, twasn’t me. I saw that it was a camo yak, so I figured it was you in your new Tarpon.
I have also been eyeing that area - looks like it may be a good place to wade once the tailin’ action picks up. I need to get out there and explore a bit to find some sandy spots.
Up near the grass is a little muddy but out about 20 ft is pretty hard and sandy… at low tide it’s pretty shallow and at dead high yesterday it was only about 7 feet 30-40 ft from the beach all along there… also at dead high the grass flats across the river are about 1-2 ft deep and very firm sandy bottoms wiht a few creeks that look like they will hold water even at low… I spooked a few nice sized reds and they did look a little bigger than slot… they are there… I just gotta find out what they want to eat
