Looking at the 20k Generac or Kohler.Anyone have one.I will get the propane model.Will have to find a big above ground propane tank.Space is limited outside near the breaker box.Any info you have will be appreciated

How loud are those things when they run Joe? You could put it away from the house where you have more room for it. Just run a cable underground to the junction box and don’t have to listen to it run!
Evidently he has no yard so moving it away from the house isn’t an option. I’m assuming there is no yard since he has no room to bury a tank.

Noise will not bother me.Bedroom are on the other side of the house.If it works out the platform will be next to the house and about 10 feet of cable will be need to reach the junction box.T will have room for a stand up tank

I cannot speak to any of the specifics, but to answer the question about noise. The fully installed whole-house units are generally surprisingly quiet, at least the ones I’ve heard in action.
Similar to how a 225hp 2-stroke is easier on the ears than a 9.9hp 2-stroke.
Saying “I am offended” is telling everyone else that you cannot control your own emotions, and thus you need everyone else to do it for you.
Will Saturday turn on everything I want to use and see how many amps they pull.Then will decide on what generator package to get.may go with a 20k but if needed the 30K.Kohler,generac not sure yet.heard in the sandy mess the generacs were garbage???
