Whoo-dat - 5/1

Left the dock at 4 decided to head straight out. Found a temp break in 400ft and saw what we thought was a free jumping billfish. We rushed to deploy the spread, but as we trolled closer to the mayham realized that all of the fish free jumping were spinner sharks. The spinner shark were thick. We saw dorsal fins swimming everywhere. Picked up one 25 lbs dolphin in that area at 715. Then caught a shark, which ended up breaking the line while being leadered. Started trolling south towards the 226. The planer rod went off and to our surprise it was a sailfish. The sailfish was only 30 lbs or so. Finally found a decent weed line around 10, and had constant action. We fished the dirty side of the weed line, and altough it made for constant work I think we caught more fish and the others fishing the clean side. Left the dolphin biting, and decided to try to jig up a grouper. Caught 2 scamp, 2 ajs, and 1 bonita on the butterfly jigs. Final fish count 23 dolphin, 2 scamp, 1 sailfish.

Good job guys we looked for that rip all day Saturday with no luck glad yall got on em.
