Picked up some whiting near the beach, then off to the Edisto nearshore.
50 inch spinner shark who almost went in the fish box, 1 weakfish who lost his way, and more bsb than you can dehook.
Nasty wind, waves, and rain. Lots of fun. Looked like the storm of the century today, and the leader on the shark burned right through my leather gloves.

We were alone all day except for a blue tidewater. That shallow v looked like it was giving him a tough ride. Congrats on sticking it out.
We saw a boat headed in around 2pm. Probably was you.
Still beat a day in front of the tv.

Actually we went out at about 7:15 - 7:30 and was back on the hill by 11. I saw a couple boats heading out though. Mine has a pretty shallow V and coming back if I let it plane out it was beating us to death, so kept it slow and the bow high. Made for a long ride, but at least I don’t have that “been in a car wreck feeling” today.
