A shiner. I have a bunch in my pond about that size.

Definitely a fish…
But at first we thought it was a shad. Cool catch I’m the bluegill pond though!

golden shiner old people sometimes call them a roach. 2nd put a hook in him lmb have a hate/love em.

Heard 'em called Silvers, but roach is new to me.

If you fish with shiners frequently in a stocked pond, every once.in awhile you will lose one or two and they’ll reproduce and.grow.to that size. You need to be careful. They can literally take over a.pond. Personal experience…

yea they will take over ponds.my dad never let us use them in our pond for that reason. but they are good bass bait as stated. that one could get ya a 10+lbr easy!
