Texans Steele and Beverly arrived at Edisto and had never caught a Redfish. I solved that problem. Beverly caught 5. The only one Steele caught was when he hooked up at the same time Beverly did. We must have had at least 12 cutoffs. I spent alot of time rerigging.

As someone had stolen all my Minnows, I used cut Mullet for bait.

Women and children always catch more fish…they also listen to what the Captain is telling them. There might be a connection there, not sure.

wow nice reds and yes that happens every time! i turn 26 next week and have fished for all of my life in several places (ohio, michigan, west virginia, tennessee, florida, carolinas, alaska, …) and my biggest catch is a 5 foot sandbar shark. i took a friend that aside from a nice redfish on a different trip hasnt caught a fish since she was 9 and reels in a 7 foot blacktip after a 45 minute fight. never fails my friend.

What kind of a lowlife would steal minnows ? I hope it was a cat or a raccoon.

Out of the locked bait bucket hanging off the boat. Not a racoon , but maybe a snake.

That has been my experience too. The guy will do it how you tell him for about ten minutes and then switch back. The ladies and children listen and follow instructions and as a result catch more fish.

My wife doesnt give me time to fish. She is too busy fishing while i release the one she just caught. As soon as i turn around she has another one! But i am not going to complain
