Why don't I catch anything?

When we have extreme tides I rarely catch anything while fishing for redfish in the creeks. Can anybody explain why that is or is it just me? Thx

I have a hard time on dark moon big high tide days,so I don’t know. I’m an old John Island guy and always heard “they got alot mo grass to go in, with alot mo to eat, on them big tides”.
