As I was reading the Creation and Flood passages in Genesis a few months back, it occurred to me that the fish were never destroyed. God had Noah keep 1 pair of all the unclean animals and 7 pairs of all the clean animals. But the fish stayed in place. Clearly, God wants us to fish!

God is interested in fishing and willing to answer prayers. I also think part of what I have experienced can be attributed to God wanting to be quick to make parents look good in front of their children, particularly when parents exercise faith through prayer.
