Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

“Willing to pay”? There are numerous outfitters in SC who would be happy to take your money for a hog hunt. A quick search via Google should give you close to half a dozen within driving range. Now of course the going rate for a decent hog hunt is going to run you around $1000 for 2 hunters. So the question is how much are you willing to pay? Salty suggests you pay via the “Time+Effort Formula”, and that is a proven formula. What gets tough is short cutting the process and finding somebody to do you a favor. Please let me know when you figure out how to make that happen. Call me a cynic, but I wouldn’t spend much time waiting for the phone to ring. Just sayin’.

You are also just a short drive from the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, they have a lot of hogs and about 17,000 acres of public land.
Estill has a couple of pay hog hunting plantations. The Bostick is one with a good reputation.

Try cypress creek hunting. I took my son years ago. Much less than reported above.
FM is a good choice as well. I have killed many there near my home.

Just googled Cypress Creek. Lowest rate was $325/person for 2 hogs. Fall and Winter rate was $375/person for 2 hogs. $375 x 2 = $750. Add 20% tip of $150, and fill up the truck with gas to get there and back, drop the hogs of for processing, and you’ve kicked the crap out of $1000 and then some. I’ve checked it out a lot, and the cat is out of the bag. Pay to play.
