talked to a close friend who said he went to Wilson Landing today and there were hundreds of dead catfish, some over 30#. He said it smelled so bad he had to cut his trip short and only caught a few brim and shellcrackers. (I sure wouldn’t eat them!)
I know the river rose from 3 to 9 foot in three days. I don’t know if it had anything to do with the fish die off. I know three years ago there was a massive shad died off. The trees were full of them. It was freaky.
