Went yesterday evening, plenty of shad and crappie and big shellcrackers. Went back at 4PM today and the gates were opened, water had gone up 15 feet. Discharge yesterday was approx. 700 cubic ft per second, today over 4000. I’m glad I didn’t have far to drive but should have checked first.
That’s happened to me before.haha. I wish that old timer still had a tackle shop at the landing.
yep, again glad I only live about three miles away. No fishing today but stopped by the property I hunt on and had a pleasant walk daydreaming about turkeys and deer.
