Went out Sunday AM with Shamrock to look for some sheepshead. Caught around 12 with only 1 keeper.

Big percentage are shorts this year. (for me at least)
Been averaging around ten keepers each trip…although I don’t keep but a few each time and they have to be 16in or bigger. More people are after them now and the average size is way down from years past. Used to catch a few around 10lbs every year. Not so common now. This month is my favorite month to catch them…all the pickers will be gone! Congrats on your catch!
