Let it not be said, they never get it right. For once the wind behaved just as the forecast predicted. Granted this was the 5am forecast mind you; they said it would go flat calm ~4-5 hours later, and it did. Of course, we had to return at noon, but hopefully others took full advantage.

Of course I point this out because of all the times the wind blows harder than expected.

Which forecast?

Dear Mission…My rule of thumb is to add the two wind speeds together and prepare for that possibility. Example: 10 mph to 15 mph out of the SE. I figure on 25 MPH, and plan accordingly.
