Guys,
What fancy tricks do you use to conceal the crimp and swivel at the end of your wind-on leader where you attach the lure leader? Skirts? Crimp protector? Heat shrink? Or are there other tricks I am not aware of?
tie offshore not no crimp no corrosion
use an albright knot. It ties leader to line with no swivel the only problem is when your bait spins
albright direct rig works great, especially with lighter drags. if you want to avoid having snaps and shorter leader, try using spro swivels. they wind right on the reel and go with a long 20 - 30 foot leader. then you can reel your rig right to the tip and not have a snap dragging 10 feet in front of your baits.
