Whos gonna try the bay tomorrow. Looking at several models, she looks nasty. Would the south end be doable with this ne wind? Never really paid attention to wind when fishing inshore, always figured id find a sheltered spot.

I never ever try the bay if its forecast to blow from the NE and I always shrimp the south end. That’s from some hard lessons learned.
I might not know the bay yet, but I know wind. For a NE wind, the south part of the bay would be worse because of “fetch”. In the north, you would get more protection in the pocket, since you will be in the lee of land. That being said it doesn’t take a lot of fetch to produce chop if the wind is high enough
none of the bay is protected from a NE, it turns into a washing machine.
Tuesday night was a NE 12 when I was there.
NE 10-15 MPH always try to avoid those day when I can. Just be careful it can get nasty with little warning.
