Almost turned around about half way through the harbor, soaked and getting blown around…we decided to see how it was closer to the rocks, ended up not too terrible of chop but still windy. Cut menhaden on the bottom produced these 2 nice ones. My personal best right at 37", and my friend got a nice one with a DNR tag! Not too bad for a 2 hours in the evening. Fatrat was right, go deeper for the big boys!

Nice one Stump!
You catch the darnedest stuff.
Just a while back you had the rare “Spotted-Eye” bass, and now this?
The ultra-rare “Un-Spot-tail Bass”?
Incredible!

You are VERY close to having your “Man-Card” revoked.

You guys are cracking me up!
Optiker, I didn’t notice the other side having a spot or not, I was too caught up in the excitement of catching that bruiser!
If I had to guess I would say it did just because of the others I have caught with no spot on one side did have one on the other…
BigT, you’re right I do catch some strange ones

You guys really have a few BIGBOYS. I need to run to the jetties myself. But everytime I put in at Remleys those flats, rocky banks and marsh grass calls me instead running after reds and flounders.
