winter bass advice

anyone have any suggestions on winter largemouth flies? wooly boogers seem to work during all other seasons, winter too? colors?

I caught a few yesterday on this size 6 leech I tied up. Just a size 6 streamer hook black pine squirrel zonker strip for the tail and then wrapped up the body like hackle. Finished it off with a fish skull. Worked well. I’ll post a pic when I get a chance. Also just think of bass fishing with spinning gear in the winter. Worms and jigs moved really slow along the bottom. I have some pretty cool flies tied on worm hooks that work real well. Think I bought them at charleston angle last fall.

Do the bass eat poppers during the winter ?? I am not a bass fisherman (freshwater)?? If they do I can put a few poppers in your hands for materials cost

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.
