What do you wear on the boat to keep your feet warm and dry when it’s cold? I am thinking rubber boots with wool socks.

That’s what I wear. Thick wool socks with moisture wicking liners keep my feet warm and dry. Rubber boots just below the knee so if I step into shallow water they stay dry.

Muck boots, the knee high ones with regular socks. They’re made out of neoprene, very warm. The neoprene isn’t as stiff as the old rubber boots, I roll mine down to keep my legs from sweating. I roll them up at the ramp to keep from getting wet. I’ve got 3 boys that could tear up an anvil, theirs still look new after 6 months to a year.

I wear muck boots too and love them

Which brand of muck boots are you using?

I ended up buying a pair of $23 rubber boots at Wally World; already had wool socks. Will work fine for now. I will probably end up buying something nicer in the future.

I am using the muck boot brand wetland version

Can you get those muck boots locally?

I posted last week or two about boots. I have always been a fan of lace up waterproof boots but I took everyones advice and bought a pair of muck boots. I actually have them on today at work and have been wearing them all day. Nice and warm but not too warm and comfortable enough to wear all day. Mine are the 16" ranger version.

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>I wear any shoes I want with SealSkinz socks in them. On surf/camp fishing trips, I can slip off my shoes or boots and keep the socks on while I sleep in the sleeping bag. They never feel wet and always feel warm no matter what shoes I decide to wear. I even wear them with Teva sandals in summer to keep the snails from jambing between my toes and the grass from scratching at my legs. The socks have outlived at least a half dozen pair of shoes and are still kicking. Anyway, that’s my method.

I’m sure you can. Tractor supply usually has them but I live in the upstate so I’m not sure about where to go in the Charleston area but I’m sure someone has them down there.

Superior Boot co. Neopreme ,waterproof and insulated have been wearing the in the winter for years, Found a new pair last year in Hendersonville outdoor shopfor $43.00. I’ve had muck boots in the past and they don’t compare in warmth and comfort. Went striper fishing at Clarks hill last week at 20 deg and stayed warm!
Wore my muck boots yesterday in the snow riding 4 wheelers and all my friends were complaining about cold feet and I was comfortable the whole time
