Winter tactics

Ok so this will be my first winter battling a pretty bad fly addiction. I am not new to winter redfishing with spin tackle, so here goes the question. How does targeting change versus spotting spring and summer tailers on the flats? I have ran across the big schools of reds during the winter months before, so are you simply looking for the schools or are there specific types of structure you can also target? Are they still going to show up on the flats? How does fly selection change if any? Also is WF line still the go to or does sink tip start coming into play more? Thanks for any help… If anyone is off on a sunday or a tues and wants a wing man hit me up hah

Find the schools at low tide and fish them. Clear, cold water means slow down your presentation.

and use more muted color flies… big and flashy will spook 'em I have found… dark dark colored flash and just a little of it…

cool thanks for the imput!.. Going to hit them up on tues.

What jedi said. When the water is gin clear they are easily spooked by bright and flashy flies. Down here in Beaufort County a root beer colored fly seems to work well.
