Wiring Connector Help

The connector on the wiring harness on my trailer has a short so it needs to be replaced. The problem is, I cannot find a new connector. The connector is the flat style, with 5 pins, 4 male, 1 female. While it only has 5 pins, it has 6 wires, white, brown, black, yellow, green and red. The brown and black wire go into the same pin. Does anyone have any idea as to where I might find a connector in the Columbia area?

Thanks

I’ll check when I get home tonight. I know I’ve got some pigtails, but not sure which ones.

Try Northern Tool.

I just checked, and all I have are 4 pin connectors. Couldn’t find anything at the Northern Tool website, but I found this at Advance Auto. It’s only 5 wires though.

Northern Tool did not have one. Thanks for looking Bob.

I’m going to call Wesco this morning.

If your trailer is a Wesco, I called them the other day to see about U bolts for holding the bunk brackets on because I cut them off to do some work. They were like a buck a piece vs going with any trailer parts web store at $7/each. I’m calling them for any replacement to my trailer’s hardware first.

With that said, I made up the round connector for my trailer as both of my tow vehicles have that prewired and I had to use an adapter for the 4 or 5 pin versions.
