Wolfpit Run fishing on James Island, SC

Real person fake internet persona to hide behind. My brother went to school with rapshict, I know who he’s is. Pea pod probably gots a a dozen dummy accounts. Somebody’s got to create site traffic.

Rap&@&$t? Really. Have you met him? He’s a good dude.

I do enjoy your posts for the same reason I enjoy racin on tv

40 really has some mental issues,he lashed out at me,accusing me of being an alias. And that was after I took his side on the whole Gander Mountain-assault rifle thing when I was a starting member.Everyone is not out to get you 40, simmer down buddy, stop being mad or you’ll never get to be as old as me.

Why do some of you guys turn everything into a d**k swinging competition? Get back to the topic. If you can help the guy, great, let him know. If you can’t, just tell him.

2 hrs. without a response is not unusual for any site. I’ve seen some threads with hundreds of views & not a single response, even over a period of days.

Whipping out the middle school nicknames. You got me good.

Who is your brother?

Back to the topic.

There are tons of places to launch a kayak on the way to Folly and on the island itself. Plenty of marsh and creeks to get lost in and explore out there.

As soon as it starts getting cooler in the lowcountry, people begin getting antsy for comfortable boating weather and the goodnatured (usually) bickering starts to get pretty rampant on the forum. Don’t take anyone too serious and have a thick skin.

D/(k swinging competition, thanks for the gut laugh, sorry to make you unhappy bob.OK back on topic.Jeff ,I would suggest that you paddle towards the ocean until you find fish or find another place to launch or build a little plywood boat and get a 4hp like I did when starting out.You seem kinda angry, like 40, maybe y’all should hook up and go to one of his secret flats.

Glad you got a laugh from that sman, but you know it’s true. It amazes me how a thread can go south very quickly. Not to say I haven’t been guilty of contributing with a smartazzed comment every now & then. Some folks get a bit carried away. Sometimes I’ll click on a thread just to see who’s pissing who off.

I remember when a bearded dude named Rupchack won a bottle of liquor at a captains meeting. Looked like the same guy, but it could have been Ripchazzle or any such alias.

Jeff- you found some small fish, so you’re onto something. Unfortunately though for this season, the fish are about to get a lot harder to catch, and the bickering will continue as previously noted. But I think you might already get it- you’re fishing slow and getting bites right now…

Lived on James Island my whole life (23 years) and just moved to Mt. P (what was I thinking). I’ve never heard of wolf creek or whatever it’s called, but here’s my advice. If you have a kayak/small boat, put in near sunrise park or there, paddle to your right and use advice from this website. Not going to give you everything, but there are plenty of spots eyesight of sunrise that virtually everyone in Charleston knows.

Just for the record I never had a attitude or was bitter and am still not it was just a statement. Im usually playing and laughing when I type most this stuff. But 100 % there are people on here with multiple accounts and they usually comment on there own post, any one with half a memory and basic reading skills will pick up on it. 100 percent this site has been falling off the last couple years. To much nonsense like this is devaluing the site. No one comes here to read about stupid post like this. Post like these make people not want to post at all.

I prefer the eucalyptus oil in my hot bath over diffusing it…keeps me calm and tender…

back to the topic: yes, if you find little fish there should be some bigger fish too…

. Thanks Pod 100%,I could have used a few like you,100percent,back in the heights.

Wasn’t there someone on here catching over-slot reds at Demetre Park a few months ago? Kebda, perhaps? New guy, that’s where you need to be.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Man, haven’t had a Kebda reference in a while.

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?

I tend to shy away from creeks that dry out at low tide. While there is always the exception, a dry creek holds less fish.

Move towards deeper water until you find an area which holds fish at low tide. That’s your starting point.

Creeks mouths, structure, deep tight bends are places to spend some time until you further define the pattern.
