Not sure if this is the right place to post this…but my son absolutely loves fishing and being on the boat. We are thinking about turning an old wooden boat into his bed. Any ideas on where to find one? Not looking to spend a lot of money, because all of that is going towards building our new house! Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

It really doesn’t take much. Just build a little platform on the front of most bead frames and then paint the existing frame and new bow (prow) all the same nautical colors.
Add hardware and features, per budget.
Probably cheaper to build one from scratch. Google “boat bed plans”, there are plenty of plans.

I thought about making my own. Just love the look of an old boat! Plus my wife wants to hang it from the ceiling. Something along these lines…
