Got a last minute call to fish today. 5 o’clock somewhere was on the hill so we had quite a few cooks in the kitchen. Left shem on time (wow) and had lines in by 7 at the outcrop. less than five minutes and the cuda arrived. then mr hoo showed up and of course hit the only 25 in the mix. pushed out to 2,000’ caught another wahoo in 550’, three dolphin by mistake (everyone wanted billfish and we only had the big stuff out). then the two daymakers: first a white marlin put on quite a show and a fight. didn’t get him to the boat but close enough to get the adrenaline pumping. after circling where the white was for a while we headed in and found the sails. we happily managed to get one to the boat. had to cut a towel up as a flag!!! saw quite a few sails in our spread out deep. water was perfect and as you can see as blue as possible. thanks to the adamada for offering a flag (5 oclock says its bad luck not to show it) i’m sure there will be a few headaches tomorrow from this groups celebration. not only could these guys drink…they fished well too.
5 o clocks a cook? Real cooks dont need gloves to grab a pan.Blood turns us on.Not to mention gets the party started.Bills on the boat without me…For shame.I told you I bought that flying gaff, right?
Oh yeah… and a bangstick.
oh no the sailfish photo bandits strike again!
Good job guys, wish we coule have been closer to lend you a flag.
Sweet Boat
