World Cat 270 HT

I am looking at a 2006 World Cat 270 HT to purchase. Has anyone here ever been on the 270 HT? It is basically an enclosed helm/pilot house cuddy cabin. Do any of you know any positives or negatives about this boat?

If you don’t have any knowledge about the 270 HT, then do any of you know anything about World Cat boats in general? From everything I red, they have an excellent reputation. Do any of you know anything good or bad about them?

Great Riding Boats but very different msg Victory he has a 27 world cat he also has a report in the offshore reports called “Split Decision”

2000 20’ Twin Vee

Blackfin, I have a buddy that has a 26 Glacier Bay thats up for sale I can put you in touch with him if you’d like. Boat is in mint condition with new trailer. Excellant ride!

“Wow! Your daughter is just as good as your wife!!”
“Lets pull the Venezuelan Bubbler!”

“Queen Anne’s Revenge”

Looks like a sweet ride! Hope it works out and you love it.

It’s hard to believe that “Blackfin” wasn’t taken by someone already on this site. Welcome!

Yeah, I would have thought that name would have been taken too!

ive run the 27 center and cuddy with 2 and 4 stroke yamahas
very solid boat
better performance than a glacier bay, but doesn’t ride as good. typical with all the cats I have run, they don’t really like a head sea over 3-4 feet. you get very disturbing hull slap, but change course 10-20 degrees and all is well

Looks like the main difference between the 270HT and the 266SF (which is what the SplitDecision is ) is the hard enclosure.
That being said, I’ve fished on a WorldCat 266SF numerous times and can’t say anything bad about the boat. It rides great even in sloppy seas and is a very stable fishing platform. If you buy it you won’t regret it. You’ll be able to fish some days that others are sitting at the dock.
