So last night I go out off of my dock to catch some shrimp for the morning in the cast net and noticed that everywhere around in the water was these little worm like things. I threw out my cast net to get some shrimp and some of the worm looking things were on it. I have never seen anything like this. They were maybe 1" if that long. Red head and white body. Some kind of Larvae? I wish I had gotten a picture but didn’t bring the phone with me. Anyone have any thoughts that I can google.
This question comes up once every year. They are tube worm larvae.

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.
