Worth the drag

DFreedom, you definitely need to some on-the-water therapy, brother. I hope you get the help you need. LOL!!!

Head East, didn’t think about that but you’re absolutely right. I too have been “emphatically reminded” to turn my lights off while approaching a sentry. Only had to do it once. LOL!!!

Thanks Willow! Yeah, I definitely got my “morning burn” on that day. LOL!!

Doradojoe, the funny thing is, that spook was actually white before that jack got ahold of it. HAHAHA!! Outfitted that bait with some new hooks and she’s back in business.

I don’t know how long those jacks stay around but hopefully anyone that has never experienced their power and ferociousness gets a chance to do so before they head back out. Over the years, I’ve caught some big smallmouth, pike and musky, big sea-run stripers and big catfish but I could’ve tied all of them to this Jack and he would’ve drowned them.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

What do yall do when its an East facing ramp and the sun happens to be coming up on a clear morning? Silly anglers…

If I’m posting, its because I’m sitting here at work, dreaming about fishing.

One, they’re called “sunglasses.” Check’em out if you’re struggling with what you described. Two, I’m backing the boat into the water before sunrise. You know, when it’s still dark outside…hence, the reason why people still have their headlights on.
