I saw on the news about at wreck at the Jetties. What happened anybody know? Doc heard you were first on the scene?
Just a rumor, but I heard the capt could not swim. Apparently the boat was taking on water and he thought the Jetties would be safer.

2nd on location to render assistance …Hats of to MI Rescue…they were there in less than 15 mins from the call. I got word and headed out. It was 5-6 ft. seas, 20knt’s+ wind. The guy was perty Big and a broke leg so Johnathan brought the Parisail Boat with the platform on the back and worked great to load the Big man… Over all all went well. Could have been a BAD DEAL…luck for them,Brian with the Banana Boat rides was out close and got the 2 women out the water and to the dock…Perty shaken,to say the least.

Unclear…I would think when the wave rolled the boat over on the rocks…?? Or could have when he tried to climb…

I was out there just before it happened and got ran off the ramp by the rescue team because I was the only one whos head wasn’t burried. Man that M.I. ramp can really show you some real sights. Does anyone know if it was the White cuddy approx 25’ that was tied just outside the rocks? It had to be, it looked like if they came loose they would go straight into the rocks and boy it was rough that day!

I heard the authorities were gonna go after him with fines, etc. Don’t know the guy but know someone that does. So a real bad day for him. Could have been worse though.
