That’s actually pretty genius…
Now , do I need to use an expensive wrench or can I just use one I got at the hardware aisle at the Food Lion ?
I see a good use for those flea market wrenches, now…
I wonder who tried that first, probably someone who ran out of bait while the fish were still biting like crazy.

Similar vein…stainless steel knife handles ( think cafeteria knives ) are perfect " hopkins " lures.
Been using them for years. Blues / striped bass see no difference…price is right !
I’m applying for a patent on Wrench Skins before Cortland, see’s this! I got dibbs on this Cortland:smiley: Turn old rusty, flea market wrench’s, into brand new fish catching machines
Would’ve never thought of it.

Shhhh, it’s secret.

Heck, I’m going to try it when I go to the Keys. I can’t fish any worse with a wrench.

Heck, i use kitchen knives, but the weight/density of a wrench may be an improvement
