Just wondering if anyone has any ■■■■■■■■ on the Blair Wiggins S-curve signature series inshore rods? From what I’ve read in reviews it seems that most are happy, but there are quite a few comments about the rods being easy to break.
Thanks,
Dave

Are those the blue ones on his internets show?
Yes, those are the ones that I was referring to. I got some Dicks gift cards for Christmas and I’m looking for a good all around inshore rod.

I believe those are the ones that are supposed to be equivalent to a much higher priced rod. They are made for the whole rod to bend not just the tip. I heard you"ll be fine if you don’t high stick the fish, shove it into a carrying case and stuff like that. Because they can catch big fish but are very fragile.
I like the way the feel. Have not had a chance to fish one though. Does Dick’s or the rod company offer any warrenty?
At one point, I believe they were also called the tessera rods. They look really cool but I’ve never had one. I did some research and was looking at cabelas ■■■■■■■■ on them and it didn’t look as good as I thought. But then again, I have to see it to believe it, so odds are I will be getting one in the near future.

I’ve got 2 of them one has lasted me quite awhile and does a good job . The other one well first time out fishing with it snapped in half . I got my artificial snagged in some oysters and was trying to get it lose and it snapped with very little force . I guess it didn’t help I was trying to high stick it out of the snag . I took it back to Dicks and they replaced itno questions asked . Overall I like them feels real good in my hands !
