Anyone have a chum churn they are not using? How much?
I found this on how to make one. Doesn’t look to hard to do.

I made a large one a couple years ago and it still works great. It is just heavy (steel) and bulky. I just made a smaller light weight one out of aluminum and doing some testing on it now. Pm me and we can talk. Also if anyone else is interested I can make some more and get a couple better pics. Looking at making a kingfish model which would be the same just no holes and you pour the chum directly into a chum bag.
Looks good. Investigate a patent.
They are easy to make I made one last winter, $40 in materials

I have a little more in it than 40 just due to the aluminum which takes all the weight out of it. It is also welded and not just bolted together. I don’t doubt you could but something together for that using steel just wanted something lightweight that wasn’t a hazard on the boat. Which at times the big one was.
I went with a galvanized pipe, and aluminum blade sharpened. I like the weight on the pipe helps for chopping fish.
