Looking for a good, quality made flounder gig, preferably w/ a 10ft carbon fiber pile. Has anyone come across such an animal! My google searching doesn’t seem to bring the results I am looking for. New or used. TIA!!

I got a screw on gig head from sea striker that is stainless and screws into a female receiving end. Normally $60 but west marine in mtp had a basket of them for half off. Haven’t gotten to use it yet but it seems really sturdy. I have a adapter that allows me to put it on my push pole but I believe sea striker sells aluminum poles.
Note: if you want to be a real “sportsman” you will gig with the suction cup catch and release method

I filet and release in grease!! Let me know how that suction cup method works out for you!! lol. On a side note, I only stick as many as I plan to eat, I don’t go all the time and fill my freezer and never eat them like some do.

Pit, if you really want carbon fiber, get ahold of Phin (Marsh Tacky Carbon).

Thank-you for all of the replies. I contacted Mr. Keller yesterday evening and spoke to him. Meeting him today to pick up a couple heads. Now to figure out the pole situation.
