I’m looking to buy a moderately priced handgun, preferrably in 9mm or 380. I would also consider a hammerless revolver in .38.
Please let me know if you have something you’d sell. I’m located in Mt Pleasant.
Thanks,
Trey

I have a S&W 40 I’d be willing to sell or trade. No mods, maybe 100 rounds through it. I’m pretty sure I have the original case for it too. I have to look.

Wait till Black Friday and check out PSA. They will have some crazy deals. I think last year they had Ruger LCP 380s for like 119 or something crazy.

True, I bought a couple of the LCPs there at $199 last year or the year before. The LCP is fine for a CC gun in a pinch, but its not a great shooter. If you want something to shoot regularly, I’d go a little bigger.

Did they make you aware of the form they have to send to local Sheriff and ATF about your multiple handgun purchase?
This is the only time that serial numbers and make/model of your purchase are ever sent to the ATF. Remember a while back they had a records retention problem? That was with these records, which are required for any multiple handgun purchase within 5 business days.

Point being? Report of multiple sales forms are nothing new.
God bless the “ignore” function.
Do they send in this multiple gun form if you purchase with a CWP?

Yes. The form pertains to the sale of multiple handguns (and “others” like stripped lowers). It has nothing to do with a NICS background check so the fact you have a CWP is irrelevant because the dealer isn’t calling it in. A copy goes to the ATF, a copy goes to SLED and a copy is retained with the 4473 itself.
