WTB - Kegerator

Looking for a kegerator setup - its my daughters 2nd BDay party this weekend and Im cooking a hog…so of course we need a keg. Was looking at the 5.2 cu/ft Double Tap one they sell at Costco for right under $500 but figured I’d check CF in case some has one they want to part with & sell for less.

i dont know if you have the time, but i built my own out of the fridge that was in my house when i bought it. it holds two kegs, although i can fit 4 1/6 barrels, so i plan to install two other faucets. its also nice having the freezer to hold mugs. i also painted mine with chalkboard paint. this way i can write what beers are tapped and then all your buddies can write naughty messages on it for you, plus the kid loves to draw on it when he’s in the garage.

Mechanic - thats legit. The space in a garage is what would limit me there… cool setup though!

yeah thats the only bad thing about it

That thing is badass!!!

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

ill be happy to build one for anyone interested

How much would that be? ^

Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

including the cost of the fridge, it would average around $600, but that’s a good clean fridge, upgraded faucets, and chalk board paint.

if you stayed very basic with no paint and found a good deal on a fridge, it would probably be around $350

also, that is NOT including any kegs. usually once you go get a keg of your favorite brew from the local beverage supply store, they charge you a deposit, usually around $50. then when you go exchange it for another keg, you dont have to pay that $50 again.

an empty ball lock keg (for putting your own homemade brew in) would be around $150 extra.

that is a sweet setup man…slightly jelly…
