Finally getting the man cave set up.
Got the pool table in, and that’s about it.
Need some stuff to put on the walls.
Planning an offshore fishing theme, with a few inshore momentos here and there.
I don’t have a huge budget, so not looking for $3000 wall mounts or $7000 bars, but a couple hundred here and there for some cool stuff isn’t out of the question.
Pics would be appreciated.
Thanks
I’ve got two very old navigation charts for Charleston/Hilton head.I’ve always planned on getting them framed but haven’t done it…
Their yours for a case of something.
CoolBreeze, sent you an email.
Capehorn, sent you a PM.
Thanks guys!
The man cave is coming along.
Gotta get rid of those curtains and that chair.
Also gotta figure out paint colors.
Since this pic was taken, I found 4 bar stools and installed a dartboard.
Working on a live edge floating bar/ledge to install along the right wall.
Nice pool table! I love shooting billiards. I had a table for years in the middle of our living room. After my son got grown and moved out, wife said pool table had to go, she wanted her living room back:dizzy_face: Guess who won? Her, of course.
Framed charts look great, I’ve got a few of those myself and they are cheap and easy to make. I’ve seen a few places where paper charts were used as wallpaper and covered an entire wall, or an entire room. That would look good.
Check with steelmanusa on here and see if he’s got any of the driftwood fish carvings left. They are beautiful and reasonably priced. Even my wife allowed one in “her” living room.
Got the 55" up on the left wall. “Gynormance” enough for now
No room for a lazy boy, but I did put a corner sofa in right corner closest to where I was standing. It folds out into a sleeper for the times I get banished
Thanks CR,
I found steelman’s post and sent him a PM.
I love the look of old charts on the wall too.
Can’t wait to get this thing all put together.
I’d like to ditch the carpet at some time, but I’m a little worried about darts falling onto the floor.
I may have to switch it out for one of the soft tip versions if I go with wood floors.
