What do shops charge for FFL transfers? Anyone recommend a shop?

If you are a LEO, D & R Gunsmithing and sales in Goose Creek charges $15. Non LEO they charge $25 (I think). Good folks to do business with.
I carry 24/7 (just about) because I’m supposed to. I would otherwise…because I can. The world we live in can be a dangerous place and with the hard times people are experiencing, it will only get worse in the coming months. Most of us on the site have better-than average incomes and have expensive hobbies. All of this spells potential easy money to some miscreants.

I would like to point out that I’m on the site and I definitely don’t have an “above average income” but like to get out on the water just the same. But I do agree with the fact that some people are out to look for an easy target to acquire money from, so a little self-protection can’t be a bad thing.
